Multiple Murder Charges In Kalamazoo Bicycle Accident

Kalamazoo County Prosecutor Jeff Getting has charged Charles Pickett Jr. with five counts of 2nd degree murder in the crash which affected nine-bicyclists Tuesday in Cooper Township.

The 50-year old Battle Creek man allegedly drove his pick-up into the bikers.

Pickett also faces four-counts of reckless driving causing serious impairment for seriously injuring the four-other riders.
