Muslim Group Denounce Shootings In Orlando Nightclub

The American Arab Civil Rights League is condemning the weekend shootings in an Orlando nightclub.

The group says the Arab-American community denounces any and all forms of extremism, including ISIS.

Instead, the organization says people should look to the peaceful actions and beliefs of the late Muhammad Ali when it comes to what Islam stands for.

A candlelight vigil held in Ferndale last night for the victims of Sunday’s shootings at Pulse Nightclub in Orlando, Florida.

The vigil is being organized by the City of Ferndale and Ferndale Pride.

Outside City Hall a number of speakers expressed their condolences to the Orlando victims, as well as offered words of encouragement.
