New State Website to Promote Lead Safety

The State of Michigan is unveiling a new effort to raise awareness about sources of lead in homes.

The Michigan Department of Environment, Great Lakes, and Energy has posted a new website, which contains information about lead in water, paint, soil, items and activities.

The site will also stream a virtual town meeting for Upper Peninsula residents this evening at 6:00, to elaborate on the mission, and answer questions.
