Saatio in Texas

John Saatio is back in the United States.  Houghton County Sheriff Brian McLean says that Saatio is currently being held at the Harris County Jail in Houston, Texas. According to court records, Saatio was booked at the jail on Saturday.
Officials are currently making plans to bring Saatio back to Houghton. Saatio was arrested by Costa Rican authorities last Tuesday after escaping custody on June 19th.  He escaped from authorities in Houghton County in June of 2015.
