A special guest was present for Winter Carnival this weekend. Democratic gubernatorial candidate Mark Schauer stopped by the Michigan Tech campus on his U.P. tour to take in the festivities. He was accompanied by Democratic Representative Scott Dianda. Schauer says he loves coming to the U.P.
Schauer did speak on the propane crisis, which he hopes get resolved soon, especially for those in the U.P.
It was Schauer’s third trip to the U.P. since declaring his candidacy last year.
