Service Set for Stephenson Crash Victims

Stephenson Crash 2014-11-28A funeral service will be held Sunday afternoon for the three Menominee County children who were killed in a car crash Monday night. 14-year-old Michael John McCue, 12-year-old Maxwell Robert McCue, and 11-year-old Joelle Naomi McCue died when the van in which they were riding slid into the path of a semi on US-41 north of Stephenson. Their mother, 40-year-old Susan Meade, was driving. She survived, and was hospitalized in Green Bay. Friends say the McCue kids were very close to one another, and were outgoing and friendly. School was canceled Wednesday in Stephenson because of the tragedy, and counselors will be available when classes resume on Monday.

Funeral services for the three children will be held at 5:00 Central Time Sunday afternoon in Carney at the Carney Free Church. Visitation will be held at the church from 2:00 to 5:00 before the funeral. The Anderson-Diehm Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.
