Shaft and Jr. Shaft Exhibit Deadline Approaching

The deadline for the annual Shaft and Junior Shaft exhibits is right around the corner. The exhibit, which will be dispayed at the Copper Country Community Arts Center, will feature works created by local artists inspired by the Copper Country’s mining heritage. The entry fee for Shaft exhibits is $5.00. The entry for the Junior Shaft for ages 17 and under is $1.00. No more than three pieces may be entered. The show will run from November 18th through December 6th, with an opening reception from 6:00 until 8:00 on Thursday, November 20th. Entry forms are available at the Arts Center in Hancock. They must be turned in by close of business this Friday.
