Governor Rick Snyder begins a trade mission in Europe next month, including stops in Italy and Germany, and will focus on auto manufacturing investments. A spokesperson for the governor says the goal is to attract job-creating business investments in Michigan, and strengthen existing relationships. Two years ago the governor made a similar trip to Europe.
Those joining him on this year’s trip will be officials from the Detroit Regional Chamber of Commerce, The Right Place of Grand Rapids, and the Michigan Economic Development Corporation.
