ACLU Filing Lawsuit In Flint Water Crisis

Another lawsuit will be filed on behalf of Flint residents in the city’s ongoing water crisis.

The American Civil Liberties Union of Michigan will announce details Tuesday morning, including identification of the potential defendants.

The ACLU says the legal action is necessary because the water crisis can only exacerbate educational woes in Flint—where children are already being denied their right to a quality public education.
