Boyne Resort Damaged By Fire

Investigators from the Harbor Springs Fire Department and state Fire Marshal’s office are trying to determine the cause of a fire at Boyne Highlands resort that left 12 people injured.

More than 100 guests were evacuated early Sunday morning due to the fire in the Main Lodge hotel.

Boyne’s General Manager said much of the building suffered some type of fire, smoke and/or water damage.

The resort was closed all day Sunday. It’s unclear when it will reopen.
