DNR Offers Wildlife Education Program

The Department of Natural resources is bringing wildlife into classrooms across Michigan, with Elk University.

The free program offers lessons via YouTube, activities with each lesson, and education on Michigan history, forest management and elk biology.

Katie Keen with the DNR says teachers have until January 30th to register online.

Forty schools totaling nearly 2,600 students participated in the fall program.
