Fiat Chrysler Facing Fraud Investigation

The U.S. Government has opened an investigation into allegations of fraud against Fiat Chrysler.

Bloomberg News reports that prosecutors with the U.S. Justice Department are investigating claims that the automaker has been cooking the books.

The investigation comes after a Chicago-area car dealer said the automaker paid dealers to report selling more vehicles than they actually did.
