Flint Lead Pipe Replacement Project Making Progress

New findings by the Michigan Department of Environmental Quality show that lead levels in Flint’s water are now below the federal limits.

Michael McDaniel, who oversees the lead pipe replacement project, says they hope to replace 6,000 pipes in Flint this year, and in the meantime, residents should continue to use water filters or bottled water.
