Former U.S. Attorney To Teadh Law At U of M

Former U.S. Attorney Barb McQuade is headed to the University of Michigan to teach law.

McQuade was asked to step down from her government post by President Donald Trump and U.S. Attorney General Jeff Sessions.

She said she thought she’d have more time to make the transition with the acting U.S. Attorney.

She found out she was let go in a press release put out by the Department of Justice.

McQuade says she is getting acting U.S. Attorney Dan Lemisch up to speed on all the cases the office is working on like a case against ISIS supporters, Volkswagen and public corruption cases.
