Nessel, Trump in Twitter Feud

A war of words has heated up between President Donald Trump and Michigan Attorney General Dana Nessel.

The president began firing Twitter bombs early Sunday morning, reacting to Nessel’s threat to seek sanctions against attorneys that she believes used intentional misrepresentations in their attempts to overturn Michigan’s November election result.

Joe Biden won the Michigan election by 154,000 votes. Numerous lawsuits have alleged that fraud occurred, but no actual evidence has been presented.

Early Sunday, Trump tweeted “These lawyers are true patriots who are fighting for the truth and, obviously, getting very close. AG should be sanctioned. Fight on!”

Nessel responded, “a patriot is a person who vigorously defends their country against its enemies and detractors. History will reveal which you were. I wish you loved your country half as much as you love yourself.”
