One of the most vocal critics of Governor Gretchen Whitmer’s COVID-19 policies has now contracted the virus.
Republican State Senator Tom Barrett of Charlotte is one of the sponsors of the bill that would eliminate the emergency authority the governor is using to put COVID-19 safety restrictions in place.
He’s now in self-quarantine, and says he’s not experiencing any significant symptoms.
