Stinkbugs Threaten State’s Crops

It’s a new threat to Michigan’s fruits and veggies.

Entomologist Howard Russell at Michigan State University says he’s getting calls from homeowners who are seeing stinkbugs in their homes.

The bugs come in to hide from the cold in the Fall.

They’re shaped like a shield and a half inch wide by a half inch long.

He recommends spraying the outside walls of the home to try and prevent them from multiplying.
