Trail 160 Closed For Repairs

The Michigan Department of Natural Resources has closed another snowmobile trail in the western U.P.

Trail number 160 in Gogebic County is closed until further notice until bridge and trail repairs can be made.

The 25-mile-long trail heads north from Trail No. 2 in Ironwood before traveling northwest and connecting with the Wisconsin trail system.

The DNR announced on Dec. 12 a section of Snowmobile Trail No. 2 in Dickinson County will be closed into January 2017 as work continues to repair railings and decking on a bridge west of Iron Mountain.
