Transparency Bill Submitted

Increasing transparency – that’s what’s behind a public records proposal submitted by members of the Michigan House that would subject the governor and lawmakers to public records requests.

The proposal is a bi-partisan effort. It’s the second attempt at such a measure, which has been spurred on by Flint’s water crisis and the sex scandal that forced two legislators from office.
