Trump’s Michigan Election Official

Michigan’s electors have cast their 16 votes for Donald Trump.

Protesters were in Lansing urging the electors to “”vote your conscience” and reject Trump.

However, it was a fruitless effort because in Michigan, electors who don’t follow the state results from the general election are simply replaced.

It’s the first time since 1988 that a Republican presidential candidate has won the state.
