Vietnam Vets Urged To Recheck Benefits Eligibility

The Michigan Veterans Affairs Agency is urging Vietnam Veterans to go back and review their benefit eligibility because new research and medical advances have contributed to numerous changes in benefits available.

James Redford, Director of the Agency, says he wants to remind veterans there is help available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and 365 days a year.

He says veterans can be connected to state and federal benefits as well as local resources by calling 800-MICH-VET.
