The Ontonagon Sheriff’s Office received a call of a stolen vehicle from the Strong Dental Center in Ontonagon shortly after 8:00am Monday.
The owner of the vehicle reported that vehicle was stolen between 7:20am-8:00am from the parking lot.
The vehicle was a silver four door 2006 Pontiac Grand Prix.
The vehicle was later spotted by an individual on Norwich Rd. in Ontonagon Township.
The vehicle was occupied by two male subjects–one described only as skinny and the other tall and bald.
The Sheriff’s Office along with Michigan State Police attempted to locate the vehicle for several hours.
Approximately 12:30pm, it was reported to the Sheriff’s Office that the car was spotted parked within the Village of Ontonagon unoccupied.
The Sheriff’s Office had the vehicle towed by Howie’s towing of Bergland to the Sheriff’s Office for evidence processing.
