Suspect Sought Who Robbed South Range VFW

The Houghton County Sheriff’s Department is looking for the person responsible for robbing the VFW Lounge in the Village of South Range.

The suspect is described as 6’0” to 6’2”, average build, wearing blue jeans, a brownish Carhart-type jacket, and a green, black and white snowmobile helmet with a mirrored visor.

About 2:10am on Monday, the suspect entered the bar and confronted the bartender, who was closing up for the night.

The suspect took a large amount of money and left.
