Suspects Arrested In Lake Linden Drug Bust Bound Over

The case against a pair of drug suspects in Houghton County is moving forward.

Ruth-BelcherPolice say 35-year-old Corrie Ruth of Flint and 43-year old Damon Belcher of Detroit were found with over $10,000 in heroin and cocaine along with approximately $2000 in cash.

They were arrested by UPSET detectives last month at a residence in Lake Linden and charged with multiple drug counts

Both suspects were bound over to circuit court Wednesday morning.

 

UPDATE:

Belcher arraigned in Houghton County Circuit Court.

He is charged with 2 counts of delivery and/ or manufacture of a controlled substance and 2 counts of possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance, each punishable up to 20 years and/or $25,000.

Belcher stood mute to all counts. The suspect is being lodged in Houghton County Jail.
A pre-trial will be held for Belcher in January.
