Take Care Of Pets As Temperatures Drop

With temperatures set to take a dive, it’s important to remember not to leave your pets outside.

Becki Clouthier from the Copper Country Humane Society says it’s not only cruel but perhaps even criminal.

Clouthier says different breeds of dogs will be able to withstand varying degrees of cold, but that all dogs need extra care during the winter.

Bowls of water will freeze and walking in snow and ice can damage an animals paws.

If you have any questions on how to make sure your pet is safe this winter, you can contact the Copper Country Humane Society.
