Three People Arrested on Drug and Alcohol Charges

Three people in Ontonagon County were taken into custody for various drug and alcohol related offenses late last week. Deputies from the Ontonagon County Sheriff’s Office say the three were arrested shortly after 6:30 p.m on Thursday. A 23-year-old Ontonagon woman was arrested for several offenses including operating under the influence of drugs and contributing to a minor. Her 20-year-old male passenger and 24-year-old female passenger were also arrested. The man was arrested for minor in possession of alcohol, the use of opiates, and the use of marijuana. The female passenger was arrested for use of marijuana, possession of Percocet, allowing open intoxicants in a motor vehicle, and the use of opiates.
