The Tigers dropped a 3-0 decision to the Padres last night. In another bullpen game, Brenan Hanifee took over for Tyler Holton in the third inning, gave up a run, and took the loss. Ty Madden tossed four innings, and allowed two runs.

The Tigers take today off, and visit the Padres again tomorrow. Keider Montero will start against Yu Darvish. Coverage will begin at 9:15 on 99.3 The Lift.

The Brewers clobbered the Cardinals 9-3 yesterday. Willy Adames homered in his fifth straight game. Rhys Hoskins went deep, and Jackson Chourio hit a grand slam. Freddy Peralta pitched into the sixth, and allowed all three St. Louis runs.

The Brewers host the Cardinals again tonight. Aaron Civale will pitch against Steven Matz.

NHL

Former Red Wing Filip Zadina is heading to Switzerland. He’s signed a two-year deal with Hockey Club Davos.
