Two Turtles Found In Michigan Could Be Listed As Endangered

A pair of turtles found in Michigan could be added to the Endangered Species List soon.

One is called the Blanding’s turtle, which has a yellow chin and the other is a spotted turtle, which has yellow spots on its shell.

The U-S Fish and Wildlife Service is going to take the next couple of months to gather a bunch of data on the turtles, and a few other reptiles, to see if they should be placed on the Endangered Species List.
