U.P. Prisoners Making & Selling U.S. Flags

New American flags made by inmates at state prisons in the Upper Peninsula are now available.

Michigan State Industries, operated by inmates at various Michigan prisons, is offering various sizes of the flags from 3 feet by 5 feet to 8 feet by 12 feet.

The flags are among the few items the program is allowed to sell to the general public, and are available only to governmental agencies and non-profits outside the state.
