Michigan Congressman Dan Benishek is looking for the brightest young minds in the U.P. for a national competition to design a smartphone app. High schoolers 13 years or older are encouraged to apply for the 2014 House App Contest. Interested students may enter individually or as a team. Benishek says his office will provide detailed instructions and resources for those with no prior knowledge or background in designing apps. The competition submission period is between February 1st and April 30th.
