Fourteen people are under arrest in the city of Escanaba for Felony Delivery of Buprenorphine.
The arrests Wednesday came after multiple investigations conducted by The Upper Peninsula Substance Enforcement Team into the sale and distribution of Buprenorphine.
Three other people were arrested on charges unrelated to the investigations.
Names of all the suspects are being withheld until they’re arraigned in the 94th District Court of Delta County.
Buprenorphine is a prescribed medication used to battle drug addiction is also used for pain management.
