Walgreen, Walmart Eye Drops Recalled

Several types of eye drops and ointments sold at Walgreens and Walmart have been recalled.

FDA officials say the products may not be sterile, and could cause infections or other injuries. No health issues have yet been reported.

The products were manufactured by Altaire Pharmaceuticals, and sold under the retailers’ in-house brand names, Equate and Walgreens.

If you have any of the affected products, return them to the store.
