Obituary: Anthony Peter Landini

Calumet–A Mass of Christian Burial for Anthony Peter Landini is scheduled for Monday, June 3rd at 11 a.m. at the St. Paul the Apostle church with Rev. Fr. Gracious Pulimoottil to officiate. Friends may call at the Ryan Funeral Home on Sundey, June 2nd from 2 to 4 p.m. Mr. Landini, 68, passed away in Bootjack on March 5, 2019.

Bootjack – Anthony Peter Landini, 68, passed away Tuesday, March 5, 2019, after a 2-year battle with cancer. He was born on July 8, 1950, in Wayne, Michigan, the son of the late Paul and Maude (Moretto) Landini. Anthony (Pete) was a graduate of Romulus High School, Michigan Technological University (civil engineering degree) & the University of Wisconsin – Madison. Anthony was a civil/structural engineer designing bridges for the state of Wisconsin. He enjoyed refurbishing houses, driving and repairing his tractors, trucks, and many other big boy “toys”! His special joy was drinking a beer on the end of the dock and watching the sunsets in Bootjack, Michigan. Surviving are his brohers, Paul (Ann) Landini of Barbeau, Michigan, Joe (JoAnn) Landini of Barbeau, Michigan, and Jim (Ella) Landini of Manchester, Michigan; sisters Kay (Larry ) Kepner of Harbor Springs, Michigan, Lucy (Mike) Hubert of Lake Linden, Mary (Chuck) Peters of Fair Haven, Michigan, and Veronica (Carl) Williquette of Green Bay, Wisconsin; uncle Peter Moretto of Englewood, Florida, Mary Moretto, cousin, Bath, Michigan and numerous nieces, nephews, grandnieces, and grandnephews, cousins and friends. A Catholic Burial Mass and celebration of life will be held in May, 2019. Ryan Funeral Home is serving the family.
