Carol A. Treganowan, 74, a resident of Eagle River passed away on Monday January 10, 2022 at Aspirus Wausau Hospital.
She was born on August 25, 1947 in St. Clair, Michigan to Raymond and Nora (Carter) Skuta. She attended the local schools and graduated from St. Clair High School with the Class of 1965.
Carol enjoyed making a loving home where she often cooked and baked. She also loved spending time with her children and grandchildren.
Carol owned and operated the General Store in Eagle River since 1993.
On September 25, 1977 she was united in marriage to Jack Treganowan in St. Clair, Michigan.
She was a member of the Christ Episcopal Church in Calumet, the Eastern Stars, and the Keweenaw Kernewek.
She is preceded in death by her parents Raymond and Nora Skuta, her brothers Tom Skuta and Raymond Skuta, and her niece Bobbi Jo Niebauer.
She is survived by:
her husband Jack
Her children: Joshua (Kelly) Treganowan, Tom (Pamela) Treganowan,and Kim Treganowan
Her grandchildren: Brady Treganowan, Brett Treganowan, Nicole (Steve) Taratuta. Michelle (Luis) Treganowan
Sister Charlene (Bob) Niebauer of Pickford, MI
Her Dog: Bugs
Along with many cousins and friends on both sides of the pond.
A funeral service will be held at on Sunday January 16, 2022 at 3:00 pm at Christ Episcopal Church 57031 5th Street Calumet with Rev. Nancy Auer to officiate.
Burial will take place in Evergreen Cemetery in Eagle River.
