Obituary: Clark L. Pellegrini

Clark L. Pellegrini, 85, a resident of Calumet passed away peacefully on Wednesday morning May 22, 2024.

He was born on October 1, 1938 in Calumet a son of the late Leo and Kirsti (Karvonen) Pellegrini.

Clark graduated from Calumet High School with the class of 1956. He later went on to attend Michigan Technological University receiving his bachelors degree.

He was a veteran having served in the U.S. Army stationed in Germany from 1961-1964 leaving as 1st LT.

On August 9, 1984  he was united in marriage to Sherrie Ceno.

Clark worked at the firm of Arthur Anderson in Milwaukee as a financial advisor. He then returned back to the Copper Country and was employed at Michigan Tech as an internal auditor. While at Michigan Tech he received his CPA certificate. He worked at Michigan Tech until his retirement.

Clark loved to spend time with his family at the camp in Bootjack. He also loved to garden, golf and go for rides with his beloved dog Lacy.

Preceding him in death was his sister Cynthia Pellegrini, brother David Pellegrini and his first wife Catherine St. Germain. 

He was a member of St. Paul the Apostle Church and the longest serving  member for 65 years of the Calumet Elks Lodge 404 of Calumet.

Sons: Guy (Cindy) Pellegrini of Mohawk 

Deano (Angie) Pellegrini of South Carolina

Grandson Ty Pellegrini

Sisters in law Kathy “Babe” Ceno of Calumet and

Suzie Pellegrini of Cincinnati, OH

Nieces: Kirsti Pellegrini and Katie (Alex) Beurket 

Nephew Marco Pellegrini 

Great Grand Nephew Luke Beurket

Special friend Erik Soujanen

Visitation will be held on Wednesday May 29, 2024 from 10:00 AM -12:00 noon at the Erickson Crowley Peterson Funeral Home in Calumet.

Private family services will be held in the Lake View Cemetery.
