Obituary: Julie Ann Isola

Julie Ann Isola of Laurium, Michigan passed away on October 10th, 2023, at her home. Julie was born on November 2nd, 1966 in Calumet, Michigan to George and Diane (Allen) Isola.  
Julie graduated from Calumet High School with the class of 1984. She worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant until 2012 and loved her work as a CNA. Before her work as a CNA, Julie worked as a waitress and as a book keeper at a book factory. 
Julie married Donnie Branyon in 1989 in Calumet, Michigan and they were married for 20 years. She also lived in Georgia for a period of 20 years and enjoyed her time there where she worked at Sunbridge as an Activities Director. Julie enjoyed several hobbies including writing poetry and scenic drives in the Copper Country. She was best known for her smiling blue eyes and a heart of gold. She lit up a room by her infectious smile and bubbly personality. You were a better person by knowing Julie. We may have lost an angel on Earth, but God has gained an angel in heaven. Her beautiful smile and sweet demeanor will be greatly missed. 
Julie is preceded in death by her parents George and Diane Isola. She is survived by her son Alexander Isola, brothers George (Ruth) Isola and Darrell (Patti) Isola, sister Jana (Terry) Isola and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins and special friend James “Jake” Chopp.
A service for Julie Isola will be held at the Erickson-Crowley-Peterson Funeral Home at 10:00 am on Wednesday, October 18th, 2023. A visitation will be held at 9:30 am at the Erickson-Crowley-Peterson Funeral Home from 9:30 am -10:00 am on Wednesday, October 18th, 2023.
