Sharon I. Smith 81, passed away at her home in Copper Harbor the week of November 3, 2022. She hosted the Webcam and blog “A View from the Field” for years and had many readers. Sharon was born and lived in Detroit where she worked as a software technician. She was a member of the St. Paul Lutheran Church in Laurium. Funeral services are scheduled for Saturday, November 19^th at 11 a.m. at the Ryan Funeral Home with Pastor Lundquist to officiate. Friends may call from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m.
