New Recruits Begin Training to Become DNR Officers

Two dozen new recruits began the Department of Natural Resources’ conservation officer training academy over the weekend. The school started Sunday and runs for 22 weeks, including 14 weeks of basic police training and eight weeks of more specialized training.
