MLB
The Detroit Tigers had yesterday off, and host the Chicago White Sox tonight. Mike Fiers will start against Reynaldo Lopez. Pregame coverage will begin at 6:45 on 99.3 The Lift.

The Milwaukee Brewers collected just five hits in a 5-0 loss to the New York Mets last night. Zach Davies gave up a run over four innings in his first start after a stint on the disabled list. He tired in the fifth, as New York scored three times off him and reliever Dan Jennings. Milwaukee has the best record in the National League, but has also been shut out a league-high nine times.

The Brewers continue that home set against the Mets tonight. Junior Guerra will pitch against Noah Syndergaard.

NBA
In the NBA playoffs last night, Houston edged Golden State 98-94. The Rockets lead the Western Conference final 3-2. Boston plays at Cleveland tonight. The Celtics lead the Eastern Conference final 3-2.

Finlandia
The Finlandia University men’s basketball team has added two more players for next season. River Shumate comes from Republic-Michigamme, where he made the Copper Mountain Conference All-Copper Country Division second team, and won the 2018 Marquette County Excellence in Education Scholarship Award. Alijah McChriston is from Colorado Springs, where he made 88 percent of his free throws in high school.
