Chris Carter, Scooter Gennett and Hernan Perez homered. Matt Garza opened the game with five shutout innings, then gave up two runs in the sixth. Michael Blazek gave up Atlanta’s third run in the seventh.

The Brewers host the Cincinnati Reds tonight. Jimmy Nelson will pitch against Homer Bailey.
