MLB
The Detroit Tigers had yesterday off, and begin a series at Oakland tonight. Michael Fulmer will start against Sean Manaea. Hear the first pitch at 10:05 on AM 1400 and FM 99.3, WCCY.

The Milwaukee Brewers spotted the Atlanta Braves a two-run lead in the first inning, then roared back to claim a 6-2 victory last night. After giving up a home run to Tyler Flowers, Wily Peralta pitched into the sixth inning to earn the win. He also tied the game with a two-run, bases-loaded single in the fourth inning. Ryan Braun and Jonathan Villar homered, and Hernan Perez drove in two runs with a triple.

The Brewers return home to host the Cincinnati Reds tonight. Zach Davies will pitch against John Lamb.

Milwaukee has placed reliever Chris Capuano on the disabled list with inflammation in his left elbow. David Goforth has been recalled from Colorado Springs to fill in.

Twilight League
Both of last night’s Copper Country Twilight Baseball League games were rained out.

NHL
In the NHL playoffs, the Stanley Cup final is set. The Penguins won the Eastern Conference championship last night, with a 2-1 win over the Lightning in the seventh game of that series. Pittsburgh will face San Jose in the opening game of the Stanley Cup series Monday night.

The Detroit Red Wings have acquired the rights to prospect Dylan Sadowy from the San Jose Sharks. In exchange, the Sharks get Detroit’s third-round draft pick in 2017. Sadowy was San Jose’s third-round pick in 2014. The Sharks have been unable to sign him. Detroit must do so by June 1st, or he can re-enter the draft. Experts say that, if he does that, he would likely be a first-round selection this time.

NBA
In the NBA playoffs last night, the Warriors stayed alive with a 120-111 victory over the Thunder. Oklahoma City still leads the Western Conference final, three games to two. Game six will be played tomorrow. The Cavaliers could advance to the championship series with a win over the Raptors tonight. Cleveland leads the Eastern Conference final, three games to two.
