Chassell repeats as D-3 U.P. Champs

Possibly unprecedented, the Chassell Panthers have repeated as Upper Peninsula D-3 champions in both boys and girls.  The Chassell girls squeaked by Munising by a scant two points, while in the boy’s competition Dollar Bay took second place.  The DB girls were fourth overall and Jeffers boys placed seventh in the division held at Beauchamp Grove in Gladstone.

In D-1, the Houghton boys were fourth and Calumet seventh–Calumet girls placed fourth and Houghton fifth.

In D-2, Hancock’s boys came in fifth, while the girls team was second.
