The Finlandia University women’s soccer team lost 7-0 to U-C Santa Cruz in the American Collegiate Athletic Association championship game yesterday. The Banana Slugs outshot the Lions 28-1. Finlandia advanced to the final with a 1-0 win over Mills College on Saturday.

The Michigan Tech soccer team edged Purdue Northwest 1-0 yesterday. Allison Thelen scored the game’s only goal.
