The Finlandia women’s hockey team wrapped up its season with a 5-2 loss at Wisconsin-Superior yesterday. Natasha Kern and Hannah McCormick scored for the Lions, who were outshot 64-16. Finlandia closes its season with a record of 0-25.

The Detroit Red Wings lost to the New York Rangers 1-0 in overtime last night. Jimmy Howard stopped 29 shots before Kevin Klein scored on a two-on-one break two minutes into the extra period. The Wing have lost four in a row, and return home to face the Blue Jackets tomorrow night. Face-off is at 7:30 on AM 1400 and FM 99.3, WCCY.

The Detroit Pistons suffered a 111-106 loss to the New Orleans Pelicans yesterday afternoon. New Orleans’ Anthony Davis scored a franchise-record 59 points. The Pistons play at Cleveland tonight. Tip-off is at 7:00 on AM 1400 and FM 99.3, WCCY.
