Tigers Fall to Mariners
Rick Porcello struggled, and the Tigers lost to the Mariners 7-2 last night. Porcello gave up six runs over five innings.

The Tigers host the Mariners tonight. David Price will start against Felix Hernandez. Hear the first pitch at 7:08 on FM 99.3 and AM 1400, WCCY.

Kansas City won again yesterday… so the Tigers are now a game-and-a-half back in the American League Central Division. They’ve lost nine of their last 12 games. If the playoffs began today, Detroit would not qualify, even for a wildcard spot.

Tigers’ outfielder Andy Dirks will resume his rehab assignment today at Toledo. Dirks is working his way back from back surgery this spring. His progress was derails by a hamstring pull last week.

Brewers Rally to Beat Dodgers
The Brewers scored five runs in the eighth inning, and came from behind to beat the Dodgers 6-3 last night. The big blow was a three-run pinch hit double by Lyle Overbay. Rookie Jimmy Nelson gave up just two runs over six innings for Milwaukee.

The Brewers continue that set at Los Angeles tonight. Yovani Gallardo will start against Clayton Kershaw.

Saint Louis won, and Pittsburgh lost, so Milwaukee leads the National League Central Division by two games over the Cardinals, and three-and-a-half over the Pirates.

Lions Fall Late to Raiders
The Raiders scored a touchdown with six seconds remaining, and beat the Lions 27-26 in exhibition play last night. Matthew Stafford threw two touchdown passes in the first quarter. He completed nine of 10 passes for 88 yards. Receiver Calvin Johnson did not play. Backup Dan Orlovsky completed eight of 12 passes for 153 yards. The Lions host the Jaguars Friday night.

The Packers will play at Saint Louis this afternoon.
