NHL
The Detroit Red Wings visit the Saint Louis Blues tomorrow night. Pregame coverage begins at 7:40 on 99.3 The Lift.

The Red Wings traded forward Tomáš Tatar to the Las Vegas Knights yesterday. In exchange, Detroit gets a first-round pick in this year’s draft, a second-round pick next year, and a third-round pick in 2021.

There had been much speculation that the Wings would trade Mike Green before yesterday’s deadline. General Manager Ken Holland said several teams were interested, but were put off by the neck injury Green suffered in the game against Tampa Bay on February 15th. Green has not played since.

MLB
The Detroit Tigers scored five times in the second inning, and went on to defeat the Baltimore Orioles 8-6 yesterday afternoon. Leonys Martín had three of Detroit’s 15 hits. Michael Fulmer gave up a run over two innings in his spring debut, and said his surgically-repaired elbow felt fine. The Tigers face the Philadelphia Phillies this afternoon. Listen for select preseason games and all of Detroit’s regular-season games on 99.3 The Lift.

The Milwaukee Brewers edged the Cleveland Indians 7-6 yesterday. Junior Guerra allowed a run over two innings. The Brewers meet the Cincinnati Reds this afternoon.
