In boys high school basketball last night…
• Calumet outscored Chassell 71-51. Tyler Black led the Copper Kings with 13 points, and Blake Tarvis added 12. Kalvin Kytta scored 14 for the Panthers.
• Jeffers overpowered Hancock 72-31. The Jets remain unbeaten.
• L’Anse outscored Ewen-Trout Creek 59-49.

In girls action…
• Calumet got past Marquette 50-44.
• Ontonagon downed Dollar Bay-Tamarack City 58-43.
• Chassell lost to Stephenson 43-29.
• L’Anse fell to Ewen-Trout Creek 64-48.

College Basketball

The Finlandia University women’s basketball team entertains Wisconsin-Superior tonight. Coverage will begin at 6:40 on the Voice of the Lions, 99.3 The Lift.

Natalie Bartle of the Lions has been named the Coast to Coast Athletic Conference Women’s Basketball Player of the Week. Bartle scored 52 points in the Lions’ recent victories over Maranatha Baptist and Mount Mary.

NHL

The Red Wings host the Sharks tonight. We’ll join the game after Calumet hockey on KBear 102.3.

NBA

The Pistons lost to the Bucks 150-130 last night. Bojan Bogdanovic scored 33 for Detroit, and Jalen Duren added 23 and grabbed 15 rebounds.

The Pistons visit the Nets Thursday.
