Cycling

This year’s La Flèche du Nord cycling tour takes place Saturday, and will follow a much different course from those of past years. Because of the M-26 closure near Eagle Harbor, and lingering snow pack on some gravel roads, this year’s event will start at the Lake Linden Park. The 75-mile tour is non competitive and unsupported. It includes some very rugged roads and challenging grades, swinging south through Jacobsville, then north, and back down through the Traprock Valley. Sign-in begins at 10:00 at the park in Lake Linden, and the ride starts at 11:00. For more details, click here.
