MLB – Tigers, Brewers Win Late
Rajai Davis’ two-run homer in the bottom of the eighth inning powered the Detroit Tigers to a 6-4 victory over the Minnesota Twins Friday night. Tigers’ starter Matt Boyd gave up just one hit over six innings. That hit was a triple by Eddie Rosario with the bases loaded after two walks and an error in the top of the fifth. Rosario then scored on a sacrifice fly. Detroit responded with a run in the bottom of the fifth, and tied the game with three in the seventh. Alex Wilson got the win, and Neftali Feliz earned the save. Details are here.
