The Lions are reported to have completed a trade with the Jets for wide receiver Denzel Mims. Mims saw little playing time for New York last year, after requesting a trade at the beginning of the season. He was a second-round pick in the 2020 draft. To get him, Detroit will give the Jets a sixth-round pick in the 2025 draft. Mims could provide some immediate help while receiver Jameson Williams sits out the first six games of the season because of a gambling policy violation.

The Lions have now signed all of their selections in the most recent draft. Second-round defensive back Brian Branch signed his rookie contract yesterday.

The Packers have signed tight end Luke Musgrave, who was a second-round pick in the most recent draft. They also inked a deal with quarterback Alex McGough, who led the Birmingham Stallions to the United States Football League title this spring, and was named the league’s Most Valuable Player.
